Through the adaptive reuse of an abandoned school building complex, a new Sport Development Center is proposed, aiming to renovate, modernize, and repurpose the existing structures. The goal is to establish high-level sports facilities in Puerto Rico while also revitalizing the neighborhood by reclaiming a large-scale site in a significant commercial and residential zone. The complex includes a hotel for young athletes to practice and stay, featuring custom bunk beds designed for shared living. Industrial materials such as perforated metal and corrugated metal sheets bring a modern, raw aesthetic to the project while keeping the design within budget.
